Company history

1992

Design activities in the telecommunications market

1994

Construction and subsequent maintenance of networks of mobile and data operators (Eurotel Praha, spol. s.r.o., T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s., Aliatel a.s., GTS Czech s.r.o.)

1995

Complete construction of television cable distribution systems, since 1997 including service (Intercable s.r.o., Karneval Media, s.r.o., UPC Česká republika s.r.o.)

2005

Implementation of large-scale investment constructions in the field of mobile operators – 2G, 3G swaps

2010

Significant entry into foreign markets (cooperation with Nokia Siemens Networks Czech Republic, s.r.o., Huawei Technologies Deutschland GmbH in the construction of mobile networks, installation of transmission technologies in Germany and Austria, Field Line Maintenance in Slovakia)

2012

Establishment of a subsidiary in Regensburg, Germany

Background

Since 2000, our company has been operating in new premises in its own building in Brno – Líšně, where it has modern facilities for carrying out contracted activities (design work, assembly work, training facilities, storage facilities, etc.). There are sufficient reserves in the building for further expansion of the company.

The company has about 200 employees. 1/4 of the employees have a university degree, mainly in electrical engineering and construction. Some of the employees speak English and German.

System policy

InfoTel’s management is committed to managing its operations in such a way that the company complies with all relevant legal and other requirements to which it is subject and to which it is committed in the area of environmental protection.

Management is committed to the implementation of pollution prevention and to the continuous improvement of environmental protection, including accident prevention.

The priority areas that management will focus on in ensuring environmental objectives are:

  • Reducing energy consumption,
  • prioritising processes with minimal environmental impact in future investments wherever possible,
  • using modern technologies that are able to comply with current and expected mandatory environmental regulations and standards,
  • contracting suppliers to adopt environmentally friendly practices and, in line with our environmental policy, to improve their environmental performance,
  • EMS training for employees.

Attention to environmental protection is an integral part of InfoTel’s activities; therefore, management continuously develops the environmental awareness of all employees and focuses training to prevent or reduce their negative impact on the environment in their activities.

InfoTel’s interest is to engage in a friendly dialogue with employees and the public. Management will inform internal and external stakeholders of the environmental impacts of the company’s activities, while responding to their legitimate suggestions and concerns.

Occupational health and safety is an integral part of InfoTel’s business activities.

We will operate our facilities in a manner that protects the health and safety of our employees, contractors, other companies and the public. We will prevent injuries and harm to health, comply with applicable laws and regulations and other requirements, enforce compliance with both our employees and other stakeholders, while striving for continuous improvement in occupational safety and health management and performance. We will regularly review the appropriateness and adequacy of our policy.

Senior management is committed to enforcing and implementing the OSH policy in cooperation with other employees and all persons working for InfoTel, and to familiarising all stakeholders with the OSH policy.

The quality policy is determined by the principle: Quality is a given.

InfoTel considers the quality of its products and services and customer satisfaction to be its primary objectives and will conduct its business activities in accordance with this policy.

InfoTel will maintain the quality of its operations at the required level by adhering to the following principles:

  • Applying a purposeful business policy focusing on the needs of customers and ensuring comprehensive fulfilment of their requirements,
  • maintaining a high quality of products and services,
  • ensure the clarity and demonstrability of all procedures on which the quality of the services provided by InfoTel depends,
  • improve staff awareness of quality assurance through training,
  • continuously educate its employees and raise their awareness of quality issues,
  • evaluate and select technological changes that support quality assurance requirements,
  • ensure the required level of quality on the part of suppliers and other stakeholders,
    as a matter of course, to comply strictly with applicable legislation,
  • communicate openly with target groups,
  • engage in a process of continuous improvement and improvement of the effectiveness of the quality management system, set annual objectives and target values,
  • systematically implement preventive measures to avoid non-conformities, carry out effective quality checks,
  • build the company’s reputation through a transparent quality management system.

All InfoTel employees and all persons working for InfoTel are involved in the quality system. Senior employees at all levels of management are responsible for its implementation and enforcement. Managers are responsible for communicating the quality policy to all stakeholders.

Enforcement of the Quality Policy is mandatory regardless of any changes in InfoTel’s organizational structure or management.

Company management

Since the beginning of its activity, the management of our company has been based on the principles of the quality management standard.
